Game Overview: 

The Tale of Oath is a third-person action-adventure game set in a world where ancient magic teeters on the edge of chaos. Originally developed as a seven-person team project at Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center, this prototype showcases a rich narrative and magic-based gameplay wrapped in an atmospheric experience.

Responsibilities: 
  • Developed and maintained an efficient asset workflow in Unity for game assets
  • Implemented shaders and visual effects using particle systems to enhance gameplay readability
  • Rigged and animated creatures and props, ensuring proper export to Unity
  • Created multiple cinematic cutscenes using Unity Timeline
  • Optimized models, textures, and materials for better performance
